Dear Friend in Christ,
Warmest greetings to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our risen and coming Lord, that great Shepherd of the sheep who said: "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27).
With this in mind, I would like to ask you the following questions.
Are you looking for a church:
- That preaches and teaches the Word of God in a way that you can practically apply to your everyday life?
- That is open to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, where believers have the freedom to exercise their spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ?
- Where the Holy Eucharist (a.k.a. Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper, the Lord's Table) is celebrated every Sunday?
- Where believers are passionate about singing "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs?
- Where you can invest your time, talents, and treasure in the work of God's kingdom?
- Where every member is a minister first to their family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers?
- Where a new generation is being educated about the ancient paths of the historic Christian Faith in a culturally relevant way?
- Where an orthodox biblical worldview on the sanctity of life, marriage, and human sexuality is taught and honored?
- That provides pastoral care and resources for those seeking help and healing for a broken marriage and family relationships, drug, alcohol and pornography addictions and other difficult life issues.
- Where Christians from the evangelical, charismatic and sacramental streams of the Church come together to worship in answer to our Lord's Jesus Christ's "Father make us one" prayer recorded in John 17?
If you have been looking for church that sounds similar to what I've described above, I hope you will join our online worship gathering this Sunday at 4 PM!
Your servant in Christ,
The Rev. Dean F. Schultz
